Austrian Ecolabel & EU Ecolabel

Living in harmony with nature means quality of life. It means giving and taking, a harmonious relationship with what surrounds us. Appreciating and protecting. This is a task we dedicate ourselves to every day at the Puradies. Passionately – out of love for the environment. And as passionate hosts. We are all the more delighted and proud to be certified with the Austrian Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel.

Nature… sometimes it behaves wild and untameable, shows its teeth, rages with storms, rain, hail. Sometimes it is very gentle and approachable, strokes our skin with sunshine and a tender breath of wind. Everything is nature, and yet it is unique in all its forms, because there is simply only one of it. With our concept "Pur & Fair", we at the Puradies are working on concrete measures – and in doing so offer our guests a holiday quality at 4-star superior level. With the certification by the Austrian Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel, we hold a visible proof of our efforts in our hands. Both certifications are awarded according to defined criteria, among others on energy, water, waste and cleaning agents, and are regularly reviewed.

With the "Pur & Fair" concept, the hotel management and the team of the Puradies have developed a guideline to combine environmental awareness and holiday quality. We put this into practice by having our head chef work closely with selected regional partner businesses in order to avoid long transport routes and to ensure the freshness of our food. Meat, vegetables and fresh eggs come from, among others, our own Embachhof organic farm. For guests arriving by electric car, free e-charging stations are available, and e-bikes can be rented via the iBike Box. The environmental idea is also a priority behind the scenes, for example in waste separation, cleaning or hygiene. We use cleaning agents according to the criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel and consistently separate our waste.

Environmental awareness has not only grown in our consciousness today. Rather, respect for nature goes back a long way and is firmly anchored in our values. It began with the Madreiter family's traditional farm, the Embachhof, which has been farmed for generations. Today it is a certified organic farm with species-appropriate animal husbandry and without artificial fertilisers. And this idea continues today: at the Puradies, we would like to bring our appreciation for the Alps as a habitat closer to our guests, inform them and inspire them. The harmonious integration into the landscape of the Salzburger Land already contributes to this. Native plants shape the surrounding landscape, and this also includes the integration of the natural swimming pond. Simply put – Pur & Fair.

The Austrian Ecolabel and the EU Ecolabel encourage us in this endeavour. Everyone can do their part to preserve nature. Because we all benefit from it.
